THE YESBODY PROGRAM

The YesBody program is based on two pillars

1. FROM A BODY IN PIECES TO A BODY IN PEACE:

  • When you can no longer function as you want due to pain or fatigue, when you feel that you can no longer trust your body, then you start to see and feel that body as separate from yourself. You are no longer one, you lose a piece of your identity.
  • Fatigue and pain are the boundaries between “being a body” (a dynamic unity in which you unconsciously adapt to any changing environment) and “having a body“ (losing unity). You are then continuously aware of your body.
  • The manageability of the world and the ability to handle that world have been disturbed.
  • In order to become better, you must first become a unity again, felt Embodied. Language comes too late to influence this. We have also designed the necessary images, EYE-SCANS, to prime a more ergonomic functioning.

The method we provide for this is coined YesBody, a method to bring you back into your body and to (re)automatize a natural movement pattern. Natural movement ensures less pain and fatigue so that there is room for a broader framework.

2. INSIGHT INTO THE NOW AND THE HERE TO CHANGE FROM THERE.

Insight is the basis for change. And that is not always easy. Especially when your complaints cannot be objectified or they cannot simply be attributed to a certain event or situation.

Sometimes you just have to accept that there is no explanation (or no explanation yet) for the situation you are in now, knowing that it doesn’t have to stay that way and that you have the strength, the resilience to change.

Practical philosophy can help you with this, a method to open your own thinking to other and broader horizons.

Do not look for ready-made solutions. There are none. Maybe some in the short term. But as time and/ or context change, today’s answer from hither loses its value. It is, therefore, better to ask the right question: “Who am I, what do I choose and what is expected of me in the situation in which I am now and here?”.

We use a standardized method to obtain an overview, understanding, and understanding of the situation as it is now and here.
